For this card I paired the Textures and Frames Stamp set with the Wildly Adorable stamp set and the Stitched So Sweetly dies in our Annual catalog!
I'm always getting requests for Baby shower cards so I thought I would design one with these shapes and I'm happy with the final product. Hope you agree!
Below you will find the card cuts, instructions, supply list and a link to a video I did with all the cards in my Textures and Frames series!
Card Cuts: (Note: I will be listing the info for the Boys card but will list the colors below for the Girls card)
Card Base - Balmy Blue - 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 scored at 4 1/4
Layer 1 - Basic White - 4 x 5 1/4
Layer 2 - Basic White - 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 (Baby)
Layer 3 - Night of Navy - 2 1/2 x 3 1/2
Layer 4 - Night of Navy - 1 1/2 x 2 1/2
Layer 5 - Basic White - 1 x 2 (sentiment)
Layer 6 - Basic White - 4 x 5 1/4
Girls colors (Blushing Bride card base, Melon Mambo Layers 3 & 4)
Instructions:
1. Layer 1 - Using the Textures and Frames stamp set and the following stamps, stamp the pattern as shown:
- Solid Circle (Boys - Night of Navy, Balmy Blue) (Girls - Blushing Bride, Melon Mambo)
- Splotches - Crumb Cake
- Stripes - (Boys - Pacific Point) (Girls - Flirty Flamingo)
- Rectangle outline - Soft Suede
- Adhere to the card front
- Color in with Stampin Blends
- Boys - Balmy Blue Combo, Soft Suede & Petal Pink
- Girls - Flirty Flamingo Combo, Soft Suede & Petal Pink
- Fussy cut out with Paper snips
- Adhere baby to this matte
- Adhere to card front using Stampin Dimensionals
4. Layer 4 - Using the Stitched Rectangle Dies cut out the sentiment matte.
5. Layer 5 - Using Night of Navy (Boys) or Melon Mambo (girls) stamp the sentiment.
- Then cut out using the Stitched Retangle Dies
- Adhere to Layer 4.
7. Layer 6 - Stamp the shapes in the lower right hand corner as shown.
- Then adhere to the inside of the card.
