Forever Greenery Suite Card Series - Card 3

Last but not least! The last one in my Forever Greenery Suite Series. What I love about this card is how fast it goes together. Just goes to show that you can make beautiful cards and not spend all day on them!

I hope that you will try making this one it comes out so pretty with very little effort!

Project Recipe:

1. Cut Instructions: DSP = Designer Series Paper
   Card Base - Just Jade- 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 scored at 4 1/4.
   Layer 1 - Forever Greenery DSP - 3/4 x 5 1/2
   Layer 2 - Gold Laser-cut Specialty Paper
   Layer 3 - Garden Green - 2 1/2 x 2 1/2
   Layer 4 - Vellum- 3 1/2 x 4
   Whisper White - 3 x 3
   Layer 5 - Garden Green - 1 x 4 1/4
   Layer 6 - Whisper White - 1 1/4 x 3 1/2
   Layer 7 - Whisper White - 4 x 5 1/4
2. Using the Dark Shaded Spruce Stampin Blend color the ribbon. Set Aside to dry.
3. Layer 1 - Adhere to the card front flush with the left side.
4. Layer 2 - Place mini glue dots onto the back of this sheet where Layer 3 will be covering it. (See layer 3 instructions for placement)
5. Adhere to the card front flush against Layer 1 and about 1/4" from top and bottom edges.
6. Layer 3 - Adhere to Layer 2 about 1/4" from top edge and about 3/8" from left and right side.
7. Layer 4 - Using the Forever Flourishing Dies cut out the largest leaf from the vellum piece.
8. Trim bottom two leave from top section. Then cut those apart as well.
9. On the Whisper White piece stamp the medium leaf image and the Bud leaf image in Soft Sea Foam.
10. Cut out with Forever Flourishing Dies.
11. Arrange first the vellum leaves then the stamp leaves onto Layer 3.
12. Note: keep stems close so you can cover the ends with the ribbon.
13. Layer 5 - Run through the leaf Greenery Embossing Folder.
14. Adhere to card front about 1/4" from bottom edge of Layer 2. (You'll want this to be centered top and bottom on layer 2).
15. Layer 6 - Stamp sentiment in Black Memento ink then fussy cut around sentiment.
16. Adhere to layer 5.
17. Tie a bow in the ribbon once it has dried then adhere (with Liquid glue) to the card front covering the stems of the leaves.
18. Layer 7 - Stamp a couple leaf images in the lower right hand corner in Soft Sea Foam ink.
19. Stamp sentiment from the Peaceful Moments stamp set in center of sheet using Black memento ink.
20. Then adhere to inside of card.

Forever Greenery Suite Series - Card 2 - "To A Friend"

I'm so glad that you took the time to drop by my blog today.  I have been working on a series of cards made with the Forever Greenery Suite by Stampin Up®.  This is the second card in my Forever Greenery Series of cards. I cut out quite a few leaves for this one with the Forever Flourishing Dies. For a change I used one of the Gold Lazer-cut labels but I turned it around and sponged on some color and it gives the card a whole different. I felt that with the gold trim the label being gold as well was just a little to much gold for me. Ij am really enjoying this suite.  I wasn't sure I was going to like it and was worried that with so many leaves I wouldn't be able to come up with creative ideas but that has not been a problem and the cards are coming out beautiful!

Project Recipe:

1. Cut Instructions - DSP = Designer Series Paper
   Card Base - Soft Sea Foam - 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 scored at 4 1/4.
   Layer 1 - Gold Lazer-cut label
   Layer 2 - Forever Greenery DSP - 2 x 4 1/4
   Layer 3 - Pretty Peacock - 3 x 4 1/4 (leaves)
   Garden Green - 3 x 4 1/4 (leaves)
   Pear Pizzaz - 2 x 3 (leaves)
   Whisper White - 4 x 5 1/4 (stamped)
   Layer 4 - 1/2 x 4 1/4
   Layer 5 - Whisper White - 4 x 5 1/4
2. Layer 1 - You will be working on the back of this piece.
3. You will need sponge daubers and Shaded Spruce, Pretty Peacock and Soft Sea Foam inks.
4. Taking turns with the colors sponge around the label edge and the leaves until you like the look.
5. Stamp the sentiment in Black Memento Ink then set aside to dry.
6. Once dry adhere to the card front (center top), you may need to trim a few of the leaves so it fits.
7. Using the Gold Trim from the Forever Greenery Trim Combo Pack. Form three loops.
8. Adhere them with mini glue dots about 1 1/4" below the label starting from left to right. Spacing the same amount between each loop.
9. Note: Don't worry about seeing the glue dots as you will be covering the bottom of the loops with leaves.
10. Layer 2 - Adhere to the card front along the bottom edge.
11. Layer 3 - Using the Forever Flourishing Dies cut a variety of leaves from the different colors of card stock. (Not the Whisper White).
12. Stamp a variety of leaf images onto the Whisper White in Pretty Peacock and Soft Sea Foam Ink.
13. Using the dies cut out the images.
14. Arrange card stock leaves and stamped leaves as desired with stem overlapping about 1/8" onto Layer 2. You may have to trim some of the stems.
15. Layer 4 - Stamp the spot image several times along this strip in Soft Sea Foam ink.
16. Adhere to the top edge of Layer 2 covering stems.
17. Form 2 more loops with the Gold Trim and adhere to Layer 4 with Mini Glue dots in the center.
18. Using the Dark Pretty Peacock Stampin Blend color in the very vanilla trim from the Forever Greenery Trim Combo Pack.
19. Tie a bow and adhere onto Layer 4 in the center covering the ends of the Gold Loops. Trim as desired.
20. Layer 5 - Stamp the Bud leaf image in the lower right hand corner in Pretty Peacock ink.
21. Stamp the sentiment in Black Memento ink onto the center then adhere to the inside of the card.

Forever Greenery Suite Series - Card 1 "You Are The Best"

The Forever Greenery Suite is filled with beautiful product. I used the Forever Fern Bundle, Greenery Embossing Folders, Gold Laser-cut Specialty Paper, Gold Hoops Embellishments and the Forever Greenery Designer Series Paper. This card is quickly becoming one of my favorites.

Project Recipe:

1. Cut Instructions: DSP = Designer Series Paper
   Card Base - Garden Green - 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 scored at 4 1/4
   Layer 1 - Basic Black - 4 1/8 x 5 3/8
   Layer 2 - Forever Greenery DSP - 2 1/4 x 5 1/4
   Layer 3 - Whisper White - 4 x 5 1/4
   Layer 4 - Pretty Peacock - 3 1/2 x 4 1/2
   Layer 5 - Whisper White - 2 1/2 x 2 1/2
   Layer 6 - Basic Black - 4 1/8 x 5 3/8
   Layer 7 - Whisper White - 4 x 5 1/4
2. Layer 1 - Adhere to card front.
3. Layer 2 - Adhere to Layer 1 on the left side leaving a small edge.
4. Layer 3 - Run through the Flowered Greenery Embossing Folder.
5. Cut down to 2 x 5 1/4.
6. Adhere to Layer 1 just to the right of Layer 2 it should leave a small edge on the right side.
7. Layer 4 - Using the layering circle dies and the Forever Flourishing dies. Cut out about a 2 1/2" circle and a curved fern.
8. Set the curved fern to the side.
9. Using Layer 4 (circle) as a guide apply the Gold lazer- cut leaves using Mini Glue Dots.
10. Wrap a couple of loops with the Gold Trim ribbon and adhere to card front as shown using Layer 4 as a guide.
11. Pop up Layer 4 (circle) layering over the leaves and trim using stampin dimensionals.
12. Layer 5 - Stamp sentiment in Black Memento ink then cut out with the Stitched Shapes circle. (about 2" circle)
13. Adhere to Layer 4 (circle).
14. Using Multipurpose Liquid Glue adhere one Gold Hoop around Layer 5.
15. Adhere the Fern that you set aside to the bottom of the Gold Hoop.
16. Layer 6 - Adhere to the inside of the card.
17. Layer 7 - Stamp the leaf image using Pretty Peacock ink in the lower right hand corner.
18. Stamp sentiment onto center of Layer 8 in Black Memento ink. Then adhere to the inside of the card.
