Layers of Expressions in Ink

Welcome to my Blog today!  I hope you enjoy creating and sending cards as much as I do!

For this card I used the Expressions in Ink suite by Stampin UP!  This suite includes the Artistically Inked Bundle (Stamp set and dies), Expressions in Ink Designer Series Paper and Expressions in Ink Ephemera Pack.  I also added in the Best Year Stamp set for the sentiment on the inside of the card!

This is an amazing suite of products and the card creations are endless!

Below are the card cuts, instructions and supply list!

Card Cuts - DSP (Designer Series Paper)

Card Base - Pear Pizzaz 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 scored at 4 1/4

Layer 1 - Evening Evergreen - 4 x 5 1/4

Layer 2 - Expressions in Ink DSP - 4 x 5 1/4

Layer 3 - Expressions in Ink Ephemera Pack

Layer 4 - Basic White - 4 x 5 1/4

Layer 5 - Evening Evergreen - 1 x 1 3/8

Layer 6 - Basic White - 4 x 5 1/4

Instructions:

1. Layer 1 - Adhere to the front of the card base.

2. Layer 2 - Adhere to Layer 1 on the card front.

3. Layer 3 - Punch out a couple of the octagon frame shapes, solid leaves and berries.

  • Adhere to Layer 2 using Mini glue dots layering as desired.
4. Layer 4 - Using the Artistically Inked stamp set:
  • Stamp two of the large flower shapes in Coastal Cabana ink
  • Then using Evening Evergreen ink stamp the small flower centers and dots into the centers of each large flower shape.
  • Cut out using the Artistic Dies
  • Adhere to the card front overlapping the Expressions In Ink gold filament pieces.
    • The first one is flat on the card front.
    • The second one is popped up using Stampin Dimensionals and slightly overlapping the first flower.
    • Color in with Wink of Stella to add some sparkle
    • Add one Gold Glitter Enamel Dots to the center of each flower
5. Layer 5 - Stamp the sentiment in Versa Mark ink:

  • Cover with Gold Embossing Powder
  • Heat up with Heat tool
  • Adhere to the card front onto Layer 2 in the bottom left hand corner. 
6. Layer 6 - Using Coastal Cabana ink stamp the large flower in the lower left hand corner.
  • You will be stamping it off the corner.
  • Using Crumb Cake ink stamp the dots into the center of the flower.
  • Color in with Wink of Stella for some more sparkle
  • Stamp sentiment from the Best Year stamp set in Crumb cake ink as shown.

Demonstrator Training Blog Hop July 2021 Elegantly Said quick and easy heat embossed card

So glad you have popped into today!  Lucky you this is a fun blog hop!  What is a blog hop?A blog hop is when several people get together and share their ideas!  This hop is part of a Demonstrator Training Program filled with Demonstrators from around the world.  

How does it work?  All you need to do is scroll down and find the list of names.  Just click on the name right below mine and you will be off to the next blog.  Just keep doing that until you eventually get back to my blog!  I know you are going to enjoy all the cards!  So Happy Hopping!

Today's card is a beautiful Thank You card!  I don't know about you but I am always in need of a thank you card!

For this card I used the Simply Elegant Suite by Stampin Up®  This suite includes the Elegantly Said Bundle (Stamp and Die Set), Simply Elegant Designer Series Paper and Simply Elegant Trim. 

Isn't this paper gorgeous!  This paper is one of the reasons that this card can be made so quick.

Here are the card cuts ,Instructions and supply list:

Card Cuts - DSP = Designer Series Paper

Card Base - Basic Black - 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 scored at 4 1/4

Layer 1 - Basic Gray - 4 1/8 x 5 3/8

Layer 2 - Simply Elegant DSP - 4 x 5 1/4

Layer 3 - Basic Gray - 3 x 3

Instructions:

1. Layer 1 - Adhere to the card front.

2. Layer 2 & 3 - Grab Layer 3 and cut out using the Elegant Tag Punch.

  • Then using Versa Mark ink, stamp the sentiment as shown.
  • Cover with Silver Embossing Powder, pour off excess powder then heat up with heat tool.
  • Next color ribbon with the Bronze Stampin Blend. Let dry.
  • Wrap ribbon around Layer 2, Adhere Tag Punch label as shown then tie a bow around the end of the tag punch label.
  •  Adhere to the card front onto Layer 1. 
3. Using Versa Mark Ink stamp the sentiment onto center of inside of the card as shown.  Then stamp the flower in the lower right hand corner.
  • Cover with Silver Embossing Powder and Heat up with Heat Tool Gun. 
A quick and beautiful card!

Plentiful Plants "Thank you" card

Hello and thanks for popping into my blog!

Here is another card from the Bloom Where You're Planted Suite!  This suite includes the Plentiful Plants Bundle (stamp set and dies), Bloom Where You're Planted Designer Series Paper and the Paper Lattice. 

I have done several cards with this suite so please take time to browse through my blog and see all the other cards!

For this card I brought in the 3D Brick and Mortar Embossing folder to give the background some dimension.
