Julie's Creative Stamping: Scraps to Stunning Cards using Embossing Folders - "Hand-Penned"

Thanks for stopping by today! This is my third card in the Scraps to Stunning card series.

For this card I used scraps from the Hand-Penned Designer Series paper. I brought in the "One Happy Family" sentiment stamp set, the "Iconic Dies" , the Scalloped Contours Dies and of course the "Hammered Metal 3D embossing folder.

Don't forget I used Designer Sereis scraps for this card so all of the strips are different sizes. I am showing sizes for the card stock that I used for the Flower and leaves but those were also scraps from my bin.

Card cuts: DSP = Designer Series Paper

Card Base - Basic Black 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 scored at 4 1/4

Layer 1 - Basic White - 4 x 5 1/4

Layer 2 - Various Strips from the Hand-Penned DSP

Layer 3 - Basic Black - 2 1/4 x 3 1/2

Layer 4 - Basic White - 1 1/2 x 3

Layer 5 - Mint Macaron - 2 x 3

Layer 6 - Daffodil Delight - 2 x 2

Layer 7 - Hand-Penned DSP - 1/2 x 5 1/4

Layer 8 - Basic White - 4 x 5 1/4

Instuctions:

1. Layer 1 & 2 - Adhere your strips of DSP scraps to Layer 1 leaving a small border in between each strip.

Once all strips are adhered run it through the Hammer 3D embossing Folder
Wrap the ribbon around the center.
Adhere to the card front.

2. Layer 3 - Using the Scalloped Contours Dies cut out one of the scalloped labels.

Adhere to the card front using Dimensionals straddling the ribbon as shown.

3. Layer 4 - Using Highland Heather ink and the "One Happy Family" sentiment set, stamp the sentiment

Using the Scalloped Contours Dies cut out a Scalloped label
Adhere it to Layer 3.

4. Layer 5 - Using the Iconic Dies cut out three of the leaves as shown.

Adhere them to the card front as shown.

5. Layer 6 - Using the Iconic Dies cut out the flower as shown.

Adhere to the card front as shown.
Apply Genial Gems as desired

6. Layer 7 - Adhere to the bottom edge of Layer 8

7. Layer 8 - Using the "One Happy Family" stamp set and Highland Heather Ink stamp sentiment as shown.

Adhere to the inside of the card.
