Julie's Creative Stamping: Wild Cats Embossed Birthday Card

Welcome to my Blog! Here is another card in my Wild Cats series!

For this card I used the In the Wild Suite by Stampin Up®. This suite includes the Wild Cats Bundle (Stamp set and dies), In the Wild Designer Series Paper, and the Animal Print Embossing Folder.

I love the look you get with the Embossing Folder. I added in some pieces of the Designer Series Paper and all done!

This card goes together pretty quick. Just have all your pieces cut and then it will be done in a snap!

Here are the card cuts, instructions and supply list.

Card Cuts: DSP = Designer Series Paper

Card Base - Evening Evergreen - 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 scored at 4 1/4

Layer 1 - Crushed Curry - 3/4 x 4 1/4

Layer 2 - In the Wild DSP (Colorful leaves) - 1 1/2 x 1 1/2

Layer 3 - In the Wild DSP (Leopard Print) - 2 1/2 x 2 1/2

Layer 4 - In the Wild DSP (Evening Evergreen vines) - 2 x 2

Layer 5 - In the Wild DSP (Cheetah and ferns) - 1 1/2 x 1 1/2

Layer 6 - Basic White - 2 x 2

Layer 7 - Soft Succulent - 1 x 4

Layer 8 - Basic White - 2 1/4 x 3 1/4 (Leopard)

Layer 9 - Basic White - 3/4 x 2

Layer 10 - Basic White - (2) 4 x 5 1/4

Instructions:

1. Card Base - lay card front in the Animal Print Embossing folder then run through the Die cut machine.

All the next pieces will be overlapping each other as you adhere them to the card front.

2. Layer 1 - Adhere to the center of the card front as shown.

3. Layer 2 - Adhere to card front 1/2" from right edge and 1 1/4 from bottom edge, it should overlap Layer 1 just a bit.

4. Layer 3 - Adhere to the card front 1/2" from left edge and 1 1/2" from bottom edge.

5. Layer 4 - Adhere to the card front 1/2' from right edge and 1" from top edge.

6. Layer 5 - Adhere to the card front 1 3/4" from left edge and 1 1/4" from top edge.

7. Layer 6 - Adhere to the card front, centering over all other layers and placing it so it forms a diamond.

8. Layer 7 - Using the Big Cats dies cut out a vine then adhere to the center of Layer 5 as shown.

9. Layer 8 - Using Crushed Curry ink stamp the sitting cat image.

Then using Black Memento ink stamp the spots onto the cat image.
Using the Big Cat dies cut out the Leopard you just created.
Adhere to the card front on Layers 5 & 6 as shown.

10. Layer 9 - Using Cajun Craze ink stamp the sentiment then adhere to the card front as shown.

11. Layer 10 - On one of the white sheets:

Stamp the cat in the lower right hand in Crushed Curry stamping off the page.
Then with Black Memento ink spots as before.
Using Cajun Craze ink stamp the sentiment in the center of the sheet as shown.
Adhere to the right side of the inside of the card.
Adhere the other sheet to the left side of the inside of the card to give it some extra stability.
