Thanks for visiting today! This is a card that I did for this years Christmas Card Class. It was a big hit! I used the Poinsettia Petals Bundle! The cards that you can make with this bundle is endless and if you add in the Designer Series Paper and the Plush Poinsettia Specialty paper it adds to what you can do. I had so much fun designing this card and because it was for a Christmas Card Class it had to go together fairly quick. It seems like a lot of steps in the instructions but that is because I like to break it down to make it easier to understand.

Card Base and Cut Instructions:
Card Base: Thick WW 5
½ x 8 ½ scored at 4 ¼
Card Stock: Merry
Merlot 4 x 5 ¼, 1 ½ x 5 ½, 1 ½ x 3, scrap
Specialty Paper: Plush
Poinsettia (153486) 3 ¾ x 5, Silver Foil (132178) 1 ½ x 5, Vellum
CS (101856) 3 ½ x 3 ½, (2) 3 x 3, 2 ½ x 2 ½
1. Using the Poinsettia Dies, the 1 1/2 x 5 1/2 Silver Foil piece and Merry piece out 2 each of the little buds steams. Also cut out 2 small flower middles from the leftover Merry Merlot piece. Set aside.
2. Using the Embossy Buddy wipe onto the 1 ½ x 3 Merry Merlot piece and all of the vellum pieces. Then using Versa Mark ink stamp the sentiment onto the Merry Merlot Piece, 1 Large Poinsettia leaf, 2 medium leaves and 1 small leaf onto the Vellum pieces cover with white embossing powder and shake off excess then heat up.
3. Turn to the back of the Vellum pieces and color in the leaves using the Dark Cherry Cobbler Stampin Blend. Using the Poinsettia Dies cut out each of the Poinsettia leaves.
4. Using the Rectangle Stitched Dies cut to out the sentiment.
5. Assemble Flowers : Large and Medium and Medium and small. I used Mini Glue Dots in the middle to help with this. Then using a bone folder, curve the leaves down.
6. Adhere the 4 x 5 ¼ Merry Merlot piece to the card front.
7. Adhere the Plush Poinsettia using Mini Glue Dots (Strategically position them so that they will be hidden) to the card front.
9. Do a dry run of how your Poinsettia's will be place on the card front (see photo). Then using Mini glue dots adhere the stems so that they will stick out where you want them.
10. Adhere large Flower to bottom right corner then smaller flower just above and angled to the left as shown. It should be slightly tucked under the large flower.
11. Using Stampin Dimensionals adhere sentiment to the top left corner as shown.
12. Add Pearls to center of each Poinsettia and on the sentiment label as shown.
13. Stamps sentiment and budded stems in Merry Merlot Ink as shown.
