A perfect wreath every time! Ornamental Envelopes and Feels like Frost combo!

Thanks for stopping by my blog!  I have to admit I passed up this bundle several times in the catalog as I wasn't sure how I would use it.  Now that I have it I'm in love with it! For this card I combined the Ornamental Envelopes Bundle with the Feels like Frost Designer Series Paper all by Stampin Up!®

I don't know about you but I have always struggles with getting a perfect wreath built when using a stamp set that is not built for making wreaths.  When Stampin Up® came out with the Stamparatus® that solved the problem for me!

It makes designing and stamping wreaths really easy. Watch my video below to see how it works!

If you prefer written instructions here you go: (DSP = Designer Series Paper)

Card Base: Basic Gray 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 scored at 4 1/4
Layer 1 - Night of Navy - 4 x 5 1/4
Layer 2 - Feels Like Frost DSP - 1 3/4 x 4
Layer 3 - Whisper White - 4 x 5 1/4
Layer 4 - (envelope) Feels Like Frost DSP - 5 1/2 x 6
other item - Window sheet - 7 x 7

Instructions:
1.  Using Layer 1measure and mark with a pencil a 3 1/2 x 3 1/2 inch square.
2.  Then with a 3 different colored sharpie marker measure draw a 3 1/2 x 3 1/2 square using a ruler using one of the colors (Dark Blue), then draw another square just on the out side of the first one that is 4 x 4 (red) last you need another square that is 4 1/4 x 4 1/4 (green).  Then turn so that one of the points of the square is facing up and do it all again overlapping the new squares with the ones you just drew so that in the end you will have something that looks like squares going one way and diamonds going another way. (See picture below)
3. Now you are ready to use the Stamparatus®.  Just place this template into the Stamparatus® We are using Versa Mark ink for this card so run your embossy budding over Layer 1 then line up the 3 1/2 inch marks to the 3 1/2 inch square on the template.(Dark Blue)  Then center the pine leaf stamp towards the top of your sheet, pick up with stamp with the Stamparatus plate ink it up with in this case Versa Mark ink and stamp, then rotate the sheet to the right so that it is now lined up with the other (Dark Blue) square (the one that looks like a diamond from this angle), reink your stamp and stamp again.

You will continue to rotate to the right lining up with the squares until you have made a full rotation.

4.  Cover with white embossing powder, tap off any excess powder then heat up with a heat tool.
5.  Next you will repeat the process in step 3 using the berry stamp.  Once you have finished the rotation to make the wreath again, cover with silver embossing powder, tap off any excess powder the heat up with heat tool.
6.  Place sheet back into the Stamparatus® and line up the sentiment stamp into the center of the wreath, ink up with Versa Mark, cover with Silver Embossing powder, tap off excess then heat up with heat tool.
7.  Erase pencil marks on the Night of Navy piece.
8.  Adhere the 1 3/4 x 4 Feels Like Frost DSP to the right side of Layer 1.
9.  Wrap ribbon around the bottom edge of Layer 1 and 2.  Tie a bow with same ribbon and adhere just below the wreath.
10.  Adhere both to the card front.
11.  Add Basic Pearl to card front as shown.
12.  On layer 3 using Night of Navy ink stamp the corner images into each corner and the sentiment into the center of the sheet.
13.  Adhere to the inside of the card.

14.  For the envelope place the decorative die onto the flap of the envelope and run through the die cutting machine.
15. Layer 4 - Using the second largest envelope die run through the die cutting machine. Decide how much you want to go into your envelope and trim to that point.
16. Place insert into the envelope (colored side will be face down) and position where you want it, secure with washi tape then using your trimmer and the score blade score the insert to match the score line on the envelope. Add adhesive to the bottom of the insert and place into the envelope.
17.  Fold down top of insert and using Liquid glue place drops of glue on the cutout and then fold up the top of the insert.

This one was a little hard to do written instructions so if it does not make since just click on the link above to go to the video showing you how I did this card and envelope.
