Kangaroo & Company "Birthday"

Welcome to my blog!  I hope I can inspire you in some way to create some fun cards for the kids in your life!  I don't know about you but I have several kids in my life that I love to create and design special cards for.  The Kangaroo & Company Bundle which includes the Kangaroo & Company Stamp Set and the Kangaroo Dies, is perfect for creating fun cards that they will love!  I did bring in the Happy Thoughts stamp set as well for the sentiment on the inside.  

This set is also great for baby shower cards, thank you cards and just note to let someone know you are thinking of them.  

For this card I used one of the Sale A Bration Designer Series paper "Paper Blooms" but any Designer Series Paper would work.  I also used the Subtles Designer Series Paper.  

I want to point out the small sentiment label on the card front!  This is one of the dies in the set.  It is so cute!  Also when you cut out the large Kangaroo with the dies it cuts the slit for the pocket so that you can slide some of the other images into it easily.  Such a cute set!

First I adhered the Paper Blooms DSP to the card front.  Next I tied the twine around the upper left corner of the Subtles DSP.  This can be tricky but I used glue dots on the back to hold the twine as I wrapped it so I could easily tie the bow.  Apply it to the card front flush with the left side of the Paper Blooms DSP.  

Next I stamped all the images in Black Memento ink onto a Basic White piece making sure to leave enough room between each image so that I could cut them out with the Kangaroo Dies.  I also stamped the sentiment on this sheet using Night of Navy Ink.  Before I cut them out I colored in the images with Stampin Blends.  See the supply list below for a list of colors used.  

Then cut them out and adhere them to the card front as shown.  I did pop up the large Kangaroo using Stampin Dimensionls.  Matte the Sentiment label with the Night of Navy piece before adding it to the card front.  

Using the Night of Navy Stampin Blends color in some Basic Rhinestones then adhere to the card front as shown.  

For the inside of the card I used a sentiment from the Happy Thoughts Stamp set, and stamped it as shown in Night of Navy ink.  Then using the Kangaroo & Company set I stamped the presents in the lower right hand corner and colored in with Stampin Blends.  (Note: Because Stampin Blends bleed through when blending make sure you color in before adhere this sheet to the inside of the card)

Vine Design "Sympathy"

So glad you are joining me today for a look at the Vine Design Bundle!  In this bundle is the Vine Design Stamp set and the Flowering Vine Dies.  This bundle has absolutely beautiful stand alone dies that will make creating cards so easy!   The stamp set has several sentiments and flower and leaf images that will help to make your cards special!

This is one of the cards that I did for my card class for February.  The ladies loved it so I thought I would share it here on my blog!

For this card I used the following card stock, Blackberry Bliss, Shaded Spruce and White.   Notice the sentiment label, its one of the dies from this set.   

I started by stampin the large leaf image with Shaded Spruce ink on the left side (one facing down and one facing up).  Then I cut out the Detailed circle flower image using the Flowering Vine Dies.  One in Blackberry Bliss and one in Shaded Spruce.  (If you have the adhesive sheets you will want to place them on the back of the Shaded Spruce piece only) 

Next I adhered the Shaded Spruce die to the card front making sure to overlap where the stamped images come together in the middle.  Now you are going to use your paper snips and cut out the flowers from the Blackberry Bliss piece.  Once this is done you will adhere each Blackberry Bliss flower over the flowers on the Shaded Spruce piece.  

Using Black Memento ink stamp the sentiment then cut it out using the Label die from the Flowering Vine die set.  Adhere to the card front using Stampin Dimensionals.  

Color in some Basic Rhinestones using a Dark Blackberry Bliss stampin blend then adhere to the center of each of the flowers.

For the inside I stamped the leaf image in the lower right hand corner in Shaded Spruce Ink and stamped the sentiment as shown using Black Memento ink!

There you go pretty simple card!  The only thing that takes some time is cutting out the flowers but I think the finished product looks great!  

Just think about all the cards that you can make with this bundle!  They look so elegant!  I hope this has inspired you to do some card making today!

Friendly Flamingo Oasis

Thanks for stopping by today!  I hope that I can inspire you in some way to go and pick up your stamps and supplies and start creating some cards!

For this card I used the Friendly Flamingo Bundle by Stampin Up®.  One of my favorite kind of stamps that Stampin Up® makes are called Distinkive Stamps!  I love them because when you stamp them they are designed to stamp the highlights and lowlights in each image!  They come out beautiful!

The card base is Mint Macaron.  I used the following ink colors Flirty Flamingo, Shaded Spruce, Mint Macaron, Pool Party and Daffodil Delight. 

I used Flirty Flamingo and Daffodil Delight to color in the flowers as well. 

As you can see there is a lot of layering on this card so you will also need Stampin Dimensionals to pop up some of the images.   I also added Rhinestones to the centers of the flowers.

For the inside of the card I stamped the leaf image up the right side in Shaded Spruce and the sentiment in Black Memento Ink.

Brushed Blooms and the Stamparatus

 

Welcome to my blog!  So excited that you have popped over to see what I've been up to!  For this card I used the Brushed Blooms Bundle and the Stamparatus!  The Stamparatus makes lining up designs easy!  

I used Flirty Flamingo ink for the flowers, Just Jade ink for the leaves then cut them out using the Beautiful Brushstrokes Dies.  I did use Dimensionals to pop up two of the flowers.

Then using Coastal Cabana, Bermuda Bay and Pool Party ink for the Brushed images.  I loaded the stamps onto the Stamparatus then using the step technique stamped them onto the sheet. 

Then I stamped the sentiment in Black Memento ink and cut it out using the Classic Label Punch. 

I embellished the card front with the Iridescent Pearls. 

For the inside of the card I stamped the large Brushed image in Pool Party ink then stamped the sentiment in Black Memento Ink directly over the Brushed image.
