Julie's Creative Stamping: Your Biggest Fan "More Baby Cards"

Welcome to my blog! My goal this month is to post cards made with some of the products that are retiring from the Jan-June 2022 Mini Catalog by Stampin Up®. This suite was one of my favorite as Baseball is in my families blood! I wanted to create a card that showed how to use this suite for other cards such as Baby Cards. I found this card design on Pinterest created by one of Artisan Design Team members Madeleine Mrotzek. I took her design and added in Basic Gray to make the card pop a little more. Her original design was used with Blushing Bride and Balmy Blue card bases. Hope you like this version!

Below you will find the card cuts, instructions and supply list!

Card Cuts:

Card Base - Basic Gray - 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 scored at 4 1/4

Card Stock: Basic Gray - 1 1/4 x 4 1/4

- Balmy Blue/Blushing Bride - 1 x 4

-Basic White - (2) 4 x 5 1/4; 2 x 3 1/2

Instructions:

Die Cutting:

1. Using Sports Event Dies cut the following:

A. A Strip of Tickets and the #1 Circle from the Basic Gray piece.

B. A medium ticket from the 2 x 3 1/2 Basic White piece.

2. Using the Playful Alphabet Dies(or other Alphabet dies you may have) cut the following:

A. All the letters from the Balmy Blue/Blushing Bride pieces.

Stamping:

3. Using the Stars stamp from the Your Biggest Fan stamp and the Balmy Blue/Blushing Bride ink stamp several time onto one of the 4 x 5 1/4 Basic White pieces (I did use 2 generation stamping). Then stamp onto the bottom right hand corner of the other 4 x 5 1/4 Basic White piece.

4. Stamp sentiments onto the Basic White medium ticket "Hooray" From the Biggest Fan Stamp set and "Welcome Baby" from the Wildly Adorable Stamp set.

5. Using the Happiness Abounds stamp set, stamp the inside sentiment onto the middle of the 4 x 5 1/4 Basic White piece with the stars in the lower right hand corner.

6. Using Balmy Blue stampin blends color in the white crinkle ribbon set aside. (Boys card only)

Assemble:

7. Adhere 4 x 5 1/4 Basic White piece with most of the stars onto the card front.

8. Adhere the Basic Gray line of tickets onto the card front angling towards the left as shown.

9. Tie Ribbon around medium ticket and tie a bow then using Dimensionals adhere it to the card front angling in the opposite direction of the line of tickets.

10. Adhere Letters and #1 circle as shown.

11. Using Balmy Blue/Light Flirty Flamingo blends color in three basic pearls and apply to card front as desired.

12. Adhere the inside 4 x 5 1/4 Basic White piece to the inside of the card.
