Stamping:

2.  On the 1 3/8 x 4 Very Vanilla piece stamp the sentiment in Night of Navy Ink Keeping it towards the top.

3.  On the 4 x 5 1/4 Very Vanilla piece stamp the "Happy Birthday" sentiment in Night of Navy ink as shown.  Then stamp the stars in between the sentiments in Bumblebee ink.

Die Cutting:

4.  Using the Hat Builder dies cut out the hat that you stamped in step 2.

5.  Using the Sports Events Dies cut out the #1 circle from both the 1 1/4 x 1 1/4 Bumblebee pieces and Night of Navy piece.  Keep all the parts!

Assemble:

6.  Adhere the Night of Navy circle onto the hat as shown.  Then adhere the #1 in Bumblebee into the circle.

8.  Adhere the 4 x 5 1/4 DSP to the other 4 1/8 x 5 3/8 Night of Navy sheet then:

A. Adhere the Very Vanilla sentiment strip to the Night of Navy strip.

B. Adhere both to the matted DSP about 3/8" from bottom edge.

C.  Wrap twine around all these pieces keeping it just below the stamped sentiment.

9.  Add Dimensionals to the hat then adhere to the card front as shown. (Note: I always put a dimensional under the brim of the hat to give it some curve.
