Thanks for visiting my blog today!  I hope I can help inspire you with ideas for some fantastic cards!  Do you have someone in your life that you think is the best?  Me too!  Here's a great card to create and give to them to express your gratitude for all they do for you!  This is the last card in my Working with Sketches series if you missed the other ones just look for the link on the right to guide you to them!

Stampin Up!® stamp set Morning Star. This Stamp set coordinates with the Stitched Star dies. What a fun set to use to create some dynamic cards!

Cut for the Card Base, Card Stock and Designer Series Paper (DSP)
Card Base: Rococo Rose 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 scored at 4 1/4.
Layer 1 - 2019-2021 In Color DSP - 4 x 5 1/4
Layer 2 - Whisper White - 4 x 5 1/4
Layer 3 - Whisper White - 4 x 5 1/4

Project Recipe:

  1. Layer 1 - Using the largest Stitched Star die cut out a star from the center of the this layer. *** Make sure you center this so it cuts out cleanly. You will not be using the star that you cut out so you can use it for another card at a later time. Next stamp some of the vines in Pretty Peacock to this layer as shown. Adhere to the card front.
  2. Layer 2 - Stamp the Flourish that match up with the large star in Rococo Rose in the center of this sheet. In Black Memento ink stamp the sentiment as shown. Again using the largest Stitched Star cut out a star. Add Stampin Dimensionals to the back and adhere to the card front placing directly over the space cut out previously.
  3. Layer 3 - Stamp a couple of the vines with Pretty Peacock ink in the lower right hand corner stamping off the edge. Then adhere to the inside of the card.
  4. Using the Dark Rococo Rose Stampin Blend color in 2 large and 3 medium Rhinestone jewels once they are dried adhere to the card front as shown.
Another quick but cute card to have ready to mail out when needed!  I hope you have enjoyed my working with sketches series and hope it helps to inspire some great creations for you!
