Welcome to my blog!

For this card I kind of went outside the box and used some different colors than I have done with other card I have made from the Simply Elegant Suite!

I used a Blackberry Bliss card base, Card stock and ink.  Did some embossing on Vellum with Versa Mark ink and White Embossing Powder and used the Blackberry Stampin Blend to color in the White Crinkled ribbon.

Here are the card cuts, instructions and supply list for this card:

Card Base = Blackberry Bliss - 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 scored at 4 1/4

Layer 1 - Basic White - 4 x 5 1/4

Layer 2 - Vellum - 4 x 5 1/4

Layer 3 - Blackberry Bliss - 3 x 3

Layer 4 - Basic White - 4 x 5 1/4

Instructions:

1. Layer 1 - Using the Flower stamp and Blackberry Bliss ink stamp several stamps onto the sheet making sure to stamp some of them partial off the sheet.

  • Next using a Blending Brush and Blackberry Bliss ink blend over the stamped images blending darker and lighter areas.

2. Layer 2 - Using the Versa Mark ink and the large flourish image stamp several time onto the vellum again stamping some of the images partial off the sheet.

  • Cover with White Embossing Powder, shake off any excess powder
  • Heat up with heat tool.
  • Adhere to Layer 1 placing mini glue dots strategically so they cannot be seen
3. Using the Dark Blackberry Bliss stampin blend color in the White crinkled ribbon.  Set aside to dry
  • Once it is dry wrap around both Layer 1 and 2 and tie a bow as shown.
  • Adhere both layers to the card front.
4. Layer 3 - Using Versa Mark ink stamp the sentiment onto the center.
  • Cover with White Embossing powder, shake off any excess powder
  • Heat with Heat Tool
  • Cut out with the Elegant Tag Punch
  • Adhere to card front straddling the ribbon on the left side using Dimensionals.
5. Adhere three Basic Pearls to the tag.

6. Layer 4 - Using Blackberry Bliss ink stamp the sentiment and Flower as shown.
  • Adhere to the inside of the card

Seascape - Dimensions and Color

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!

This card features the Seascape Bundle by Stampin Up®, some ink and sponge daubers.

I'm in love with this bundle.  I love anything to do with sea life so this one is right up my alley.  What is it about Sea horses that just make us happy!

To create this card I stamped the bubble images in Coastal Cabana ink onto the card front.  Then I cut out 6 seahorses and colored them using sponge daubers and ink.  I then popped them up using Stampin Dimensionals.  For the eyes I used the 2021-2023 In Color Jewels.  The sentiment matte is from Gorgeous Grape and the sentiment is stamped in Gorgeous Grape onto Basic White then popped up on the card front. For the inside I stamped the sentiment as shown and adhered one of the Seahorses in the lower right hand corner.

Below is a list of supplies that I used to create this card.  If you would like to purchase any of them just click on the pictures to be taken to my online store.

Kylie's International Project Highlight's Party Puffin!

Welcome to my blog!  I have designed this card for Kylie Bertucci's International Project Highlights and I am hoping for your vote!

For this card I used the Party Puffin stamp set and the Picture This dies!  They work very well together.  I had so much fun with this card!

I used the dies to cut out a frame which I used on a different card and then used these circles that were cut out from the frame to design this card.  The frame and circle were cut from the Ombre Specialty Paper. I used Calypso coral for my card base.

I popped up all the small circles then stamp the puffin strategically so that he looked like he was playing with a ball.  I also stamped a puffin on the inside of the card in the lower right hand corner.  Before adhere the basic white sheets I colored in the puffin with Stampin Blends.
