Shading with a single color of stamp pads! In Bloom by Stampin Up®

I don't know about you but I am ready for Spring!  Here in Farmington NM.  The weather has been pretty chilly.  This week we finally go above 50 during the day and it looks like we are on the way to some warmth!

So I designed this card because I was ready for some springtime colors!  I used the In Bloom Bundle by Stampin UP®.

I used the stamps to design my own Designer Series Paper.  I think we sometimes forget how well our stamps sets can create beautiful Designer Series Paper!  I get a little lazy with all the great Designer Series Paper that Stampin Up® has to offer and don't design as much as I can.  But that is me I am all about the "Easy Button".

I wanted to show you all a way of using single color stamps pads and creating a shaded look!  This techniques is called second generation stamping!  It looks like you've used two different colors to get this effect but no it's only one color!

This bundle has some fantastic dies that have embossed stitching on them!  This makes the flowers really pop!

Below you will find a link to a video I did on Facebook and then transferred to my You Tube account.  Note:  I do a Facebook live every Tuesday at 7pm (MTD).  My Facebook page is Julie's Creative Stampin!  Join me sometime!  I will also list the Card cuts and products used below as well!

Watercolor with Simply Succulent "Thank you"

So glad you have taken the time to stop by!  I live in New Mexico so succulent plants are very bountiful here!  This stamp set spoke to me from the moment I saw it!

I haven't used a watercolor technique in awhile and felt that this stamps set would lend itself well to this technique.

Today I used watercoloring, stamping, die cutting and layering to make this card pop!

I hope you enjoy this card and don't forget to leave me a comment at the bottom of this post!  I love to hear what all of you think about my cards!

Ride the Range Fun Fold Card

Thanks for stopping by today!  I hope things are going well for you!

Today I am showcasing the Ride the Range Bundle!  My husbands family are all Ranchers and Cowboys so this set really spoke to me!

I have such fond memories of gathering cattle and riding across the ranch for weeks at a time.

So I had to get this set and make a fun card with it!  This card may look complicated but it actually goes together really fast!

I did pull in the World of Good Designer Series Paper which is retiring this month!  I think it goes with this set perfectly!

This is a great card to use your scraps on as all of the Panels and Designer Series paper are small strips!

Below is a link to a video that I did so that you can watch the step by step instructions!  I will also include the Cuts for this card below!
