For this card I used the Boughs & Blossoms bundle and brought in some friends to help give this card a little extra pop!
I am often inspired by other demonstrators with either layouts or color combinations and I know I was inspired by several cards I viewed from fellow demonstrators. I just took all the parts and pieces from them and combined them to make this card!
Below you will find the card cuts, instructions, supply list and link to a video I did for this card.
Now if you have never done a Blog Hop all you have to do is click on the name right after mine and you will be transported to the next demonstrators blog! Please note that I have positioned the video link and supply list after the Blog Hop list so once you are done hopping check back here and scroll on down for those links! Enjoy!*Using Gorgeous Grape ink stamp the more detailed flower and one of the small three flowered image.
*Using Highland Heather ink stamp the 2 of the flower image with the dots in the center.
*Using Fresh Freesia ink stamp (2) of the small three flowered image.
*Using Evening Evergreen ink stamp (2) of the small leaf with two leaves on it.
*Using Soft Succulent ink stamp (2) of the larger leaf with 6 leaves on it.
*Using Mint Macaron ink stamp (4) of the fern looking leaves.
5. Next fussy cut all the items you just stamped. Set Aside.
6. Cut the 4 1/4 x 3 1/2 Highland Heather piece at an angle. Then adhere the angled Basic White embossed piece to this piece. Set Aside.
7. Adhere the 4 x 5 1/4 embossed Basic White piece to the card front.
8. Adhere the angled piece to the piece from step 7 placing tear and tape along the left edge and bottom edge only. (Note: You don't want any tape where the pocket will be so that you can build your flower arrangement) Place piece in the lower left corner.
9. Using the Bough Punch punch out three of the leaves from the Evening Evergreen Shimmer Vellum and 2 of the flowers from the Fresh Freesia Shimmer Vellum. Set aside.
10. Next you will add the ribbon to the front of the angled pocket using Mini glue dots.
*You will need to start off the left edge and lay it at an angle toward the bottom.
* Then you will fold ribbon towards the center to form the loops on each end.
*Note: you do not need a ton of glue dots as you will be added flowers on top of this to help hold it in place.
11. Flower arrangement: I will list the order that I added items to the arrangement but use you creativity and build your own if you want to:
* Add Mini Dimensionals to the back of the Gorgeous Grape flower (make sure to keep them in the center so that you will be able to fit other pieces behind it) and apply it to the center of the ribbon but not all the way on the ribbon you want it to be more towards the bottom left corner.
*Next using Liquid glue I placed the Highland Heather flowers behind the Gorgeous Grape flower on top of the ribbon. (Note: I did use a bone folder to curve up some of the leaves)
*Next you will bring in the Evening Evergreen leaves and place them behind the Gorgeous Grape flower one on the left side one on the right side. (again use your bone folder to fold up the leaves)
*So now we will build the arrangement pieces that go down into the pocket. First using Liquid glue I place two Mint Macaron fern images, then I added the Soft Succulent leaves and two of the Evening Evergreen Shimmer leaves. (See photo for placements).
*Once you've built up into the pocket then add the two of the ferns behind the pieces on the front of the pocket along with the small three flowers images and the Fresh Freesia Shimmer piece. (Again see photo above for placements)
12. Next stamp the sentiment in Gorgeous Grape ink onto the 1 1/4 x 3 piece. Then cut it out using the one of the label dies from the Tasteful Label Die set. (Note: if you don't have this set then pick a label die that you have.
*Using Dimensionals adhere to the card front in the upper right section as shown.
13. Add three pastel pearls to the card front as desired.
14. Last adhere the 4 x 5 1/4 Basic white piece that you stamped the flower on earlier to the inside of the card. (Note: I usually do not stamp a sentiment on the inside of my Thank you cards as I like to write my own note of thanks)
You are all done! Now it's time to do some hopping. Don't forget once your done hopping to pop back by and scroll down to see the supply list and link to my video!
