Frightfully cute Turtle Friends Fun Fold Card


 Welcome to my blog today!  This is one of my Tuesday Facebook Live cards!  I wanted to show how you can bring in sets from the annual catalog (Turtle Friends Bundle) and combine them with sets from the July-December Mini Catalog (Frightfully Cute Bundle) to create some fun cards!

This is a great fun fold card that is easy to put together!  Any card that is quick and easy is a card I like to do!

Below are the card cuts, instructions and video link!

Card cuts: DSP = Designer Series Paper

Card base - Highland Heather - 4 1/4 x 11 scored at     5 1/2 then cut off 2 3/4 of top flap

Front Flap-

Cute Halloween DSP - 2 1/2 x 4



Front Panel -

Layer 1 - Highland Heather - 2 3/4 x 4 1/4 (From Card Base)

Layer 2 - Cute Halloween DSP - 1 1/2 x 2 1/2

Layer 3 - Cute Halloween DSP - 2 1/2 x 2 1/2

Layer 4 - Basic Black - 2 x 3 1/2 (Tree & Hat)

Layer 5 - Basic White - 2 x 2 (Moon)

Layer 6 - Basic Gray - 1 1/4 x 3 1/4

Layer 7 - Cute Halloween DSP - (tombstone cut outs)

Layer 8 - Highland Heather - 2 x 3

Layer 9 - Basic White - 1 x 3 

Layer 10 - Cute Halloween DSP - 4 x 5 1/4

Layer 11 - Basic White - 2 1/2 x 4


Instructions: 

1. Front Flap - Adhere to the front flap

2. Front Panel - 

  • Layer 2 - Adhere to bottom of Layer 1 leaving a small space at bottom and sides
  • Layer 3 - Adhere to Layer 1 flush against Layer 2
  • Layer 4 - Using the Frightful Tag Dies cut out the Witches Hat and Tree.
  • Layer 5 - Using Mango Melody ink stamp the moon image from the Frightfully Cute Stamp set then cut out using the Frightful Tag Dies.
  • Layer 6 - Using the Frightful Tag Dies cut out two of the fences.
  • Layer 7 - Fussy Cut out three of the tombstones from the Cute Halloween DSP with the skeletons on it.
  • Layer 8 - Using Black Memento ink and the Large Turtle Image from the Turtle Friends stamp set stamp the turtle image.  Then stamp the shell image.  For the mask - Ink up only the sides of the bow tie image then stamp over the turtles eye. Draw in the strings with a Basic Black Stamp N Write Marker.
  • Layer 9 - Using Black Memento ink stamp the sentiment then cut out using the Frightful Tag Dies.
  • Assemble front Panel:
    • Adhere the moon to Layer 3 on the panel centering.
    • Adhere the Tree with base flush against Layer 2 and limbs overlapping the moon.
    • Adhere the three tombstones as shown
    • Adhere the gates as shown - Note: I lined up the second bar down with the bottom edge of Layer 3. 
    • Adhere the Witches hat onto the head of the Turtle
    • Using Dimesionals adhere the turtle to the front panel as shown.
    • Adhere Layer 9 using Dimensionals on each end overlapping the turtle's legs.
    • Wrap Ribbon around top edge then adhere bow.
    • Adhere Panel to front card flap about 1/2" down from top edge of DSP 
3. Inside of card:

Layer 10 - Adhere to the inside of the card

Layer 11 - Stamp the bats in Black Memento ink and the sentiment in Highland Heather ink then adhere to the inside of the card about 1/2" from top edge of Layer 10 and 3/4" from both sides.

Pretty Pumpkin Team Swap

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!  I love the neutrals pallet by Stampin Up® so I wanted to do a card using Crumb Cake as the center of the card for the colors.  I designed this card for my team card swap!

For this card I pulled in the Pretty Pumpkin bundle (Stamp set and dies).  If you haven't seen this bundle yet you will want to take a look at it!  I will have a link below!

Below are the card cuts, instructions and supply list!


Card cuts -

Card Base - Crumb Cake - 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 scored at 4 1/4
Layer 1 - Very Vanilla - 4 x 5 1/4
Layer 2 - Very Vanilla - 4 x 5 1/4 (pumpkin and leaves)
Layer 3 - Crumb Cake - 1 1/2 x 3 1/2
Layer 4 - Very Vanilla - 1 1/4 x 3 1/4
Layer 5 - Very Vanilla - 4  5 1/4



Instructions:

1.  Layer 1 - Using Crumb Cake ink create a background with the solid leaf stamp and the detailed leaf stamp as shown.  Then adhere to card front.

2.  Layer 2 - Using Black Memento ink stamp the Pumpkin image and 2 of the leaf images as shown.  Then color in with Stampin Blends, I used:
  • Pumpkin - Pumpkin Pie combo and Mango Melody combo
  • Leaves - Old Olive combo
  • Cut the end off of one of the leaves between the small leaf with the vine and the other two leaves.
  • Using Liquid glue:
    • Glue the leaf with vine to the back of the three pumpkins as shown
    • Then glue the other half to the right side of the front of the pumpkins
    • Then glue the other full leaf to the left side of the front of the pumpkins
    • Using Stampin Dimensionals adhere to the card front as shown
3. Layer 3 - Using the Stitched Rectangle dies cut out a label and adhere to the card front in the upper right hand corner of Layer 1.

4. Layer 4 - Using Black Memento ink stamp the sentiment, then adhere to Layer 3.

5. Color in three Basic Rhinestones with the Dark Pumpkin Pie blend then adhere to label as shown.

6. Layer 5 - Using Black Memento ink stamp the left side of the Pumpkin stamp in the lower right hand corner.

Shaded Summer and Summer Shadow Dies

Thanks for visiting my blog!  It's d-day for Sale A Bration products today!  This is my last card in the Shaded Summer and Summer Shadow Dies series.  This is the last day you can get these dies for free with a $100 purchase!

Since my last card in this series was what I call a grunge card I wanted to lighten it up with this design.

So here we go:

Card cuts: DSP = Designer Series Paper

Card Base - Daffodil Delight - 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 scored at 4 1/4

Layer 1 - Basic White - 4 x 5 1/4

Layer 2 - Pattern Party DSP - 2 1/2 x 5 1/2 

Layer 3 - Daffodil Delight - 2 x 2

Layer 4 - Granny Apple Green - 2 x 2

Layer 5 - Basic White - 2 3/4 x 4

Layer 6 - Daffodil Delight - 1 1/2 x 1 3/4

Layer 7 - Basic White - 1 1/4 x 1 1/2

Layer 8 - Basic White - 4 x 5 1/4

Layer 9 - Pattern Party DSP - 1/2 x 4

Instructions:

1.  Layer 1 - Adhere to card front.

2.  Layer 2 - Adhere to Layer 1 flush with the right, top and bottom sides.

3.  Layer 3 - Using the Summer Shaded Die and the detailed flower head cut out die.
        Adhere to the card front overlapping Layer 1 and 2 as shown.

4.  Layer 4 - Using the same dies cut out a detailed leaf then adhere it to Layer 1 as shown.



5.  Layer 5 - Using Stamp N Write Markers color in the flowers and leaves then stamp onto this layer. (Note: You will need to breath onto the stamp before stamping to remoisten the ink)
  • I used Daffodil Delight and Mango Melody for the Flower and Granny Apple Green for the leaves
  • Then using the dies cut out the flower
  • Use Stampin Dimensionals pop up the flower on the card front as shown
6.  Layer 6 - Once you do the next step adhere Layer 7 to this one.

7.  Layer 7 - Using Granny Apple Green ink stamp the sentiment.
  • Then adhere this one to Layer 6
  • Using Stampin Dimensionals adhere both layers onto card front as shown.
8.  Layer 8 & 9-  Adhere Layer 9 to the bottom edge of Layer 8.
  • Using Black Memento Ink stamp the sentiment as shown
  • Adhere to the inside of the card
9.  Adhere the Matte Black Dots to the card front as shown.

Shaded Summer by Stampin UP® Grunge Look!

Thanks for popping into my blog today!  For those of you who know me well you know I love earth tone colors and what I call the Grunge Look.  I haven't made one of these cards in awhile so I thought I would revisit my grunge side!

We are in count down for the end of Sale A Bration for the August through September 30, 2021 period.  The dies I used on this card are one of those items that you can get for free with a minimum purchase made before September 30, 2021.  

Lets take a look at how I put this one together shall we?  

Card cuts:

Card Base - Crumb Cake - 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 scored at 4 1/4

Layer 1 - Crumb Cake - 4 x 5 1/4

Layer 2 - Very Vanilla - 4 x 5 1/4

Layer 3 - Mossy Meadow - 2 x 3 1/2


Layer 4 - Mossy Meadow - 1 x 4

Layer 5 - Very Vanilla - 3/4 x 4

Layer 6 - Very Vanilla - 4 x 5 1/4

Instructions:

1.  Layer 1 - Using the twig stamp and Crumb Cake ink stamp several images all over this sheet creating your own designer series paper.
  • Rough up the edges
2. Layer 2 - Using Rich Razzleberry ink stamp the large and small flower bunches.
  • Cut out with Summer Shadow Dies
  • Adhere to Layer 1 making sure to allow for leaves to be attached underneath each bunch.
3. Layer 3 - Using the Summer Shadow Dies cut out two bunches of leaves making sure to keep the negatives as you will be putting these back into the leaves.
  • Adhere to the Layer 1 as shown
  • Glue back in the negatives
4. Layer 4 - Rough up the edges then adhere to the bottom edge of Layer 1.

5.  Layer 5 - Using Rich Razzleberry ink stamp the sentiment then adhere to the Layer 4 on the card front.

6.  Wrap twine around Layer 1 just above the sentiment labels as shown. Tie a bow.

7.  Using Rich Razzleberry Stampin Blend color in 5 basic Rhinestones then adhere them to the card front as desired.

8.  Layer 6 - Using Rich Razzleberry ink stamp the flowers and sentiment as shown.
  • Adhere to the inside of the card.
