Same Design Different Card - Round 3

Adhere these 2 pieces together by applying tear and tape to the 1" fold section then laying the 3" end from the 5 1/2 x 11 piece onto the 1" folded section.  This picture if from the back of the card.

Front Panel -  Mother's day card

The first thing you will do is using Tear and Tape adhere the ribbon to the Card front panel making sure to leave enough room on the left side so that the ribbon will wrap around entire card once it is folded and tie as shown.
I stamped the sentiment in Black Memento ink onto Whisper White then cut it out with the Stitched Shapes Dies.  I also cut out another circle in Petal Pink. Then adhere both to the card front.

Panel 1 & 2
1 - After adhering the Card stock and DSP to the panel.  I stamped some flowers and leaves on a Whisper White scrap using the Forever Blossoms stamp set then colored them in with Cherry Cobbler, Petal Pink and Mint Macaron Stampin Blends® then cut them out with the Cherry Blossoms Dies. Then adhered them to the center of the panel.

2- Adhere the Card stock and DSP to panel 2 then using the Strong & Beautiful Stamp Set and the Forever Blossoms stamps set stamp the sentiments and flower and leaves in Black Memento ink onto a Whisper White piece.  Cut out the sentiments with the Oval Die from the Stitched shapes Dies and the flower and leaves using the Cherry Blossoms Dies.  Also cut out 2 Petal Pink ovals (one size bigger) from the Stitched Shapes dies.  Then adhere all to the panel as shown.

Panel 3 & 4

3 - Adhere the card stock and DSP to the panel.

4 - On a piece of Whisper White stamp the sentiment using the Strong & Beautiful stamp set in Black Memento Ink then cut out with the Oval Stitched Shape dies.  Also cut out another Stitched Oval (one size bigger) with in Pretty Pink card stock.
Cut out 3 of the flourishes in Cherry Cobbler using the Parisian Dies. (One of these you will use on panel 6)
Then add all but one of the flourishes to the panel as shown.

Panels 5 & 6

5 - Adhere the Card stock and DSP to panel

6- Stamp the sentiment using the Strong & Beautiful stamp set in Black Memento Ink using a scrap of Whisper White then cut out using the Stitched Rectangle Dies. Cut out another rectangle die (next size bigger) in Pretty Pink.  Then add to panel using the flourish you cut on Panel 4 as shown.

 Back Panel:

Adhere the card stock and DSP to the back panel.

Close card and tie ribbon!
The second card was created using products from the Birthday Bonanza Suite!®.  This card came out so cute and I can't wait to send it off to my Grandson.  What a fun card it will be for him to open.  Bright colors and fun images!

Here are the step by step instructions for this fun filled card:

First you will want to stamp the following onto Whisper White card stock:

Three candles one in each of the following colors - Daffodil Delight, Terracotta Tile and Bermuda Bay.
One toucan in Black Memento ink then color in the beak with Mango Melody, Daffodil Delight and Cajun Craze Stampin blends.
One Lion, body and head in Daffodil Delight, the Mane in Mango Melody and face in Black Memento ink.
One koala in Smokey Slate and face in Black Memento ink.
2 set of the balloons in Daffodil Delight, Terracotta Tile and Bermuda Bay and 2 of the balloon strings in Black Memento Ink.
2 hats in Bermuda Bay.
A line of presents in three different colors, Daffodil Delight, Terracotta Tile and Bermuda Bay.
Cut out all images that have dies with the Bonanza Dies.  All other images will need to be fussy cut.

Card Front:

The first thing you will do is using Tear and Tape adhere the ribbon to the Card front panel making sure to leave enough room on the left side so that the ribbon will wrap around entire card once it is folded and tie as shown.

Stamp sentiment onto a piece of Whisper White in Black Memento Ink.  Then cut out using the Layering Oval Dies making sure the sentiment is towards the bottom of the Oval.  Also cut out an oval scallop from Basic Black card stock and mat the Whisper White oval onto the Black Oval.  Adhere both to the card front as shown.  Then add candles as shown. (If you haven't fussy cut them out do so now)

Panel 1 and 2

1 - Adhere the card stock and DSP (Designer Series Paper) to the panel.

2 - Adhere the card stock and DSP to the panel.  Then on a piece of Whisper White stamp the sentiment and fussy cut around.  Adhere to the top of the panel as shown.  Then add the Toucan, Balloons, Balloons strings and hat as shown.

Panel 3 and 4

3 - Adhere the card stock and DSP to the panel.

4 - On a piece of Whisper White stamp the sentiment then using the Layering Circle Dies cut the sentiment out.  Then cut out a scallop circle in Terracotta Tile.  Mat the sentiment circle onto the Terracotta Tile.  Build the Lion then attach to the back of the circle as shown then add it all to the panel as shown.  If you haven't already cut out the presents then go ahead and fussy cut them out and adhere to the bottom of the panel.

Panels 5 and 6

5 - Adhere the Card stock and DSP to the panel.

6 - Using the Bonanza Dies cut out the tag then stamp the word "from" as shown.  Using Glue dots attache the ribbon to the top of the tag.  Then adhere the tag to the panel as shown.  Next add the Koala, hat and balloons as shown.

Back Panel:

Add the card stock and DSP (Designer Series Paper) to the back panel.

Tie ribbon around card to close it.

Same Design Different Card - Second Round!

So glad you popped in to take at look at my designs!  I recently did a couple of cards using the same design to create 2 cards with different looks!  I had so much fun with the last cards that I wanted to repeat my process of using the same design and making 2 cards by changing up the products that are used!  These two came out very similar but I still liked the overall outcome!

I'm including the instructions for the first card.  To make the second card you will follow the same instructions but just change up the Stamp set used.  I will enclose a list of products used needed to make both cards below!

Note:  On the Ornate Garden card I did use Stampin Blends to color in the flowers.  The So Saffron Combo and Old Olive Combo.

Project Recipe:

  1. Card base and cuts for card:
    Card Base: Thick Whisper White 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 scored at 4 1/4.
    Layer 1: Regals Designer Series Paper 4 x 5 1/4
    Layer 2: Whisper White 1 5/8 x 4 7/8
    Layer 3: Crushed Curry 1 1/2 x 4 3/4
    Layer 4: Whisper White 1 x 4
    Layer 5: Whisper White (circles) 2 x 4
    Layer 6: Crushed Curry 4 1/8 x 5 3/8
    Layer 7: Whisper White 4 x 5 1/4
  2. Layer 1: Adhere to the Card Front
  3. Layer 3: Adhere to Layer 2
  4. Layer 2 - Adhere both to card front about 3/8" from the right edge of the DSP (Designer Series Paper)
  5. Layer 4: Stamp sentiment "kindness comes in many ways but always from the heart" in Black Memento ink. Then adhere to the card front across the bottom about 1/2" from the bottom edge of DSP.
  6. Layer 5: Stamp several flowers onto the sheet then using the layering circle dies cut out three circles. Pick which images you like the best to cut out!
  7. Adhere the circles onto the card front layering 2 of them onto Layer's 2 & 3 above the sentiment strip, you will need to overlap them just a bit to fit properly. Then with the last circle using Stampin Dimensionals adhere to the card front just overlapping the other two circles but more towards the left of the card.
  8. Layer 6: Adhere to the inside of the card.
  9. Layer 7: Stamp sentiment "thank you" in the center using Black memento ink. Then stamp flourish border along the bottom with Crushed Curry ink.
  10. Add 3 Rhinestones jewels to the sentiment strip on the card front.
I hope you will try out these cards and if you do don't forget to comment below on how they turned out!

Kylie's Demonstrator Training Blog Hop April 2020

Image may contain: possible text that says 'KYLIE'S DEMONSTRATOR TRAINING PROGRAM MONTHLY BLOG HOP'

Welcome to our monthly Blog Hop! We have demonstrators from around the world that have designed cards this month.  I can't wait for you to see the fun and exciting cards that have been designed this month.  It's also great when you get to see how many different ways you can use your Stampin UP® products.

Today I used the Beautfully Braided Bundle to design my card.  I hope you like it!

Afun card using the Beautifully Braided Bundle and the Regal Designer Series Paper.

    Layer 1: 4 x 5 1/4 (Whisper White)
    Layer 2: 1 x 5 (Crushed Curry)
    Layer 3: (2) 1/2 x 6 Regals DSP
    Layer 4: 1/2 x 3 1/2 (Whisper White)
    Layer 5: 5/8 x 3 5/8 (Basic Black)
    Layer 6: 4 x 5 1/4 (Whisper White)

Then color in with the Stampin Blends trading off between Blackberry Bliss and Daffodil Delight on each flower and Old Olive for the stems.

Then using the Black Memento ink stamp the braid image onto the braid. Then adhere to Layer 1 in the top left corner at an angle, leaving space for the DSP strip above it so about 1 1/4 inches from the corner. (it will overlap and you will need to trim off the parts that overlap)
  5. Layer 3: Adhere to Layer 1, one strip above the braid and one strip below the braid about 1/8" apart. Then you will need to trim off the parts that overlap.
  6. Now your ready to adhere Layer 1 onto the card front.
  7. Layer 4: Using the Blackberry Bliss ink, stamp the sentiment "Your Smile Brightens my day" making sure to stamp close to the bottom edge. Then adhere to Layer 5
  8. Layer 5: Adhere to the card front about 1/4" from the bottom edge and centering.
  9. Layer 6: Using Black Memento ink stamp the flower image in the lower right corner (stampin off the page) then color in with Stampin Blends. Stamp the sentiment "friendship refreshes the soul" in Blackberry Bliss ink in the center.
