Welcome to my blog today! I was in need of a card for a baby shower so I looked through my Stampin Up® and decided to use the Happy Forest Friends Suite to create this card! Our family loves the outdoors and as we raised our children we spent many weekends camping, hiking and fishing so of course I feel in love with this suite! Plus it was designed with sentiment stamps to go with a baby card theme! Now I have used this same suite to create cards other than baby cards so make sure to check out my blog for other cards from this suite!
Note in the picture above I am showing both the front and inside of the card at the same time! I thought I would try to one picture that shows both. Below you will find the card cuts, instructions and supply list!

Card Cuts: (DSP = Designer Series Paper)
Card Base - Sahara Sand = 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 scored at 4 1/4
Card Stock - Night of Navy = 4 x 5 1/4; 1 x 2 1/2
- Basic White = 4 x 5 1/4; 1 x 2
DSP - Happy Forest Friends= 3 3/4 x 5 (Note: The piece of DSP that I used for this card already has a forest scene on it so cut it carefully so that you can use it as shown)
Instructions:
Stamping:
1. Using Night of Navy ink stamp the following:
A. "Hello, Baby" Sentiment onto the 1 x 2 Basic White piece. Set Aside.
B. "Happier than Happy for you" onto the 3 3/4 x 5 Basic White piece centered and towards the top.
2. Using Crumb Cake ink stamp the bear in the bottom right hand corner of the same Basic White piece from Step B above.
Die Cutting:
3. Using the Stylish Shapes Dies cut out the following:
A. A banner from the 1 x 2 1/2 Night of Navy piece.
B. A smaller banner from the Basic White piece that you stamped in Step 1A above.
Assemble:
4. Adhere the DSP to the 4 x 5 1/4 Night of Navy piece.
5. Wrap both ribbons around these pieces and add a bow made with both ribbon colors as shown.
6. Adhere the Basic White sentiment banner to the the Night of Navy banner then add both to the card front using dimensionals.
7. Adhere the stamped 4 x 5 1/4 Basic White piece to the inside of the card as shown above.
All done! Just a note this DSP is designed in such a way that as you cut it down to card size pieces it will already have a forest design on it so it makes designing so quick and easy! Let me know what you think by leaving me a comment below!
