Hallows Night Magic "Happy Halloween"

This was such a fun card to make and the Magic In This Night Suite by Stampin Up® made it so easy to design and put together.  I taught this card in my Monthly card class for October and the ladies had so much fun making it.  They fell in love with the beautiful Metallic Mesh ribbon.  It really gives this card a pop!  One thing we talked about in the class was that for anyone in your friends or family circle that have birthdays in October, these halloween cards can easily become a beautiful birthday card that only a October birthday would truly appreciate.  I hope you will try making this card and let me know how it goes!

Here's a video link for this card plus you will find the written instructions below!

Layer 6 – Whisper White CS – 2 ½ x 4

Layer 7 –Vellum – 2 x 2 ½

Layer 8 – Whisper White CS – 4 x 5 ¼

Remember you can chalk the edges of each layer if you don’t like the white edges.  I used Blackberry Bliss to chalk these edges.

 1.         Layer 1 – Adhere to the card front leaving a slight edge along the sides and bottom edge.

2.        Layer 2 – Adhere to card front flush to the top of Layer 1.  Keeping edges flush.

3.        Layer 3 – Adhere layering over the left sides of Layer 1 and 2 keeping left edges flush.

4.        Layer 4 – Using the Halloween Magic dies cut out the border die. Then adhere to Layer 3 keeping right edges flush.

5.        Layer 5 – Using the same dies cut out the largest label die.

6.        Layer 6 - Stamp the border image from the Hallows Night Magic stamp set then color in the flowers with the Blackberry Bliss stampin blends and the leaves with the Pretty Peacock stampin blend. Then cut out with the smallest label die from the Halloween Magic Die set.  Adhere to Layer 5 using Multi Liquid glue then adhere them both to the card front centering over Layer 1 and 2 using stamping dimensionals.

7.        Layer 7 – Stamp 2 large spiders using Staz on Black ink then cut out with dies.  Set aside.

8.        Tie a large bow in ribbon then adhere to the right upper corner of the card front using a Glue Dot.  Then adhere the spiders using stamping dimensionals as shown. (note: one of the spiders I placed over one of the tails of the bow).  Then add the Iridescent pearls to each spider.

9.        Layer 8 – Stamp the sentiment in Pretty Peacock and a small spider in Black memento ink right next to the sentiment then adhere to the inside of the card.
