This time I added the Band Together and Dandelion Wishes Stamps sets and the Layering Oval and Layering Circle Dies.
It's always good to combine different stamps sets and dies so that we get into the habit of using them with each other.
I don't know about you but I sometimes get into a bad habit of only using stamp sets and dies that come as a bundle. This card is a perfect example of how well they all can work together.
Project Recipe:
- Cut Instructions: DSP = Designer Series PaperCard Base: Basic Gray - 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 scored at 4 1/4.Layer 1 - Peony Garden DSP - 4 x 5 1/4
Layer 2 - Petal Pink - 2 1/4 x 5 1/4
Layer 3 - Basic Gray - 3 1/2 x 3 1/2
Layer 4 - Whisper White - 3 1/2 x 4
Layer 5 - Whisper White - 1 1/2 x 2 1/2
Layer 6 - Whisper White - 4 x 5 1/4 - Layer 1 - Adhere Layer 2 to the bottom edge of Layer 1.
- Wrap ribbon around the top edge of Layer 2 and glue in place. Then adhere these pieces to the card front.
- Layer 3 - Using the Layering Circle Dies cut out a scalloped circle as large as will fit on this sheet.
- Using Stampin Dimensionals adhere to the card front on the right side straddling the ribbon.
- Layer 4 - Stamp the large flower with stem in Black Memento Ink.
- Color in with Petal Pink and Old Olive Stampin Blends.
- Cut out with Peony Dies and adhere to Layer 3. It will hang off the bottom.
- Layer 5 - Stamp the sentiment "Celebrate the Best Day Ever" from the Band Together Stamp set in Basic Gray.
- Cut out with the Layering Oval Scalloped Dies. (The one just bigger then the sentiment)
- Adhere to the card front in the lower right corner of Layer 2.
- Tie a small bow from the Gray Granite Shimmer Ribbon then adhere to stem of flower with a mini glue dot.
- Layer 6 - Stamp small flower in the lower right hand corner, stamping off sheet. Using Black Memento Ink.
- Color in with Petal Pink and Old Olive Stampin Blends.
- Stamp sentiment "Wishes for a Lifetime of Love & Happiness" (from the Dandelion Wishes stamps set) in Basic Gray.
- Adhere to the inside of the card.
