Same Design Different Card - Second Round!

So glad you popped in to take at look at my designs!  I recently did a couple of cards using the same design to create 2 cards with different looks!  I had so much fun with the last cards that I wanted to repeat my process of using the same design and making 2 cards by changing up the products that are used!  These two came out very similar but I still liked the overall outcome!

I'm including the instructions for the first card.  To make the second card you will follow the same instructions but just change up the Stamp set used.  I will enclose a list of products used needed to make both cards below!

Note:  On the Ornate Garden card I did use Stampin Blends to color in the flowers.  The So Saffron Combo and Old Olive Combo.

Project Recipe:

  1. Card base and cuts for card:
    Card Base: Thick Whisper White 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 scored at 4 1/4.
    Layer 1: Regals Designer Series Paper 4 x 5 1/4
    Layer 2: Whisper White 1 5/8 x 4 7/8
    Layer 3: Crushed Curry 1 1/2 x 4 3/4
    Layer 4: Whisper White 1 x 4
    Layer 5: Whisper White (circles) 2 x 4
    Layer 6: Crushed Curry 4 1/8 x 5 3/8
    Layer 7: Whisper White 4 x 5 1/4
  2. Layer 1: Adhere to the Card Front
  3. Layer 3: Adhere to Layer 2
  4. Layer 2 - Adhere both to card front about 3/8" from the right edge of the DSP (Designer Series Paper)
  5. Layer 4: Stamp sentiment "kindness comes in many ways but always from the heart" in Black Memento ink. Then adhere to the card front across the bottom about 1/2" from the bottom edge of DSP.
  6. Layer 5: Stamp several flowers onto the sheet then using the layering circle dies cut out three circles. Pick which images you like the best to cut out!
  7. Adhere the circles onto the card front layering 2 of them onto Layer's 2 & 3 above the sentiment strip, you will need to overlap them just a bit to fit properly. Then with the last circle using Stampin Dimensionals adhere to the card front just overlapping the other two circles but more towards the left of the card.
  8. Layer 6: Adhere to the inside of the card.
  9. Layer 7: Stamp sentiment "thank you" in the center using Black memento ink. Then stamp flourish border along the bottom with Crushed Curry ink.
  10. Add 3 Rhinestones jewels to the sentiment strip on the card front.
I hope you will try out these cards and if you do don't forget to comment below on how they turned out!

Kylie's Demonstrator Training Blog Hop April 2020

Image may contain: possible text that says 'KYLIE'S DEMONSTRATOR TRAINING PROGRAM MONTHLY BLOG HOP'

Welcome to our monthly Blog Hop! We have demonstrators from around the world that have designed cards this month.  I can't wait for you to see the fun and exciting cards that have been designed this month.  It's also great when you get to see how many different ways you can use your Stampin UP® products.

Today I used the Beautfully Braided Bundle to design my card.  I hope you like it!

Afun card using the Beautifully Braided Bundle and the Regal Designer Series Paper.

Project Recipe:

  1. Card stock and Designer Series Paper (DSP)
    Card base: 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 scored at 4 1/4
    Layer 1: 4 x 5 1/4 (Whisper White)
    Layer 2: 1 x 5 (Crushed Curry)
    Layer 3: (2) 1/2 x 6 Regals DSP
    Layer 4: 1/2 x 3 1/2 (Whisper White)
    Layer 5: 5/8 x 3 5/8 (Basic Black)
    Layer 6: 4 x 5 1/4 (Whisper White)
  2. Using the Dark Basic Black Stampin Blend color 5 small Rhinestones. Set aside to dry
  3. Layer 1 - In Black Memento Ink stamp the large flower on the right side and down about 1 1/4" from the top edge. Then stamp again coming in from the left lower side staying pretty low. Then color in with the Stampin Blends trading off between Blackberry Bliss and Daffodil Delight on each flower and Old Olive for the stems.
  4. Layer 2: Punch out a Braid with the Braided Border Punch (I have found that it is easier to line up if you turn the punch upside down). Then using the Black Memento ink stamp the braid image onto the braid. Then adhere to Layer 1 in the top left corner at an angle, leaving space for the DSP strip above it so about 1 1/4 inches from the corner. (it will overlap and you will need to trim off the parts that overlap)
  5. Layer 3: Adhere to Layer 1, one strip above the braid and one strip below the braid about 1/8" apart. Then you will need to trim off the parts that overlap.
  6. Now your ready to adhere Layer 1 onto the card front.
  7. Layer 4: Using the Blackberry Bliss ink, stamp the sentiment "Your Smile Brightens my day" making sure to stamp close to the bottom edge. Then adhere to Layer 5
  8. Layer 5: Adhere to the card front about 1/4" from the bottom edge and centering.
  9. Layer 6: Using Black Memento ink stamp the flower image in the lower right corner (stampin off the page) then color in with Stampin Blends. Stamp the sentiment "friendship refreshes the soul" in Blackberry Bliss ink in the center.

10. Adhere three rhinestones onto the card front in the upper right corner placing top to bottom in a row and 2 onto the sentiment strip.
